ON BABY ALPACA

Baby Alpaca is sourced exclusively from the first shearing of the alpaca and grades at 22 microns or finer, representing the highest tier of natural alpaca softness. Gathered from the Andean highlands of Peru, where
alpacas are raised at elevations exceeding 3,000 metres, the fibre carries microscopic air pockets within each strand that regulate temperature with precision: insulation against cold, breathable in heat. Naturally warmer than cashmere by weight, more durable, and resistant to pilling.

ON THE CRAFT

Every SENTALER coat is finished entirely by hand in Peru, by the same community of master artisans, since 2009. The lining is natural cupro. The sleeves carry the signature ribbed detail that repeats across the collection, season after season.

Introduced in 2023, the Cape with Shawl Collar and Belt was quickly established as a SENTALER Icon. A single, considered gesture that wears alone or over tailoring. The most transseasonal of the Icons.
